Kellyanne Tong

National Manager, Contracts, Service Development and Support Systems

I have been with CCS Disability Action since mid 2014, and in my current role since January 2017.

After studying Psychology and Criminology at Victoria University of Wellington, I always knew I wanted to work with people. Now having worked in the Health and Disability sector for over 20 years in a variety of Service focused roles, I am passionate about social justice, in particular ensuring the voice of a disabled person is the loudest in all parts of their life.

My current role is diverse and interesting. I have responsibility for ensuring as an organisation we are meeting our contractual requirements including contract reporting, that we are exploring new and creative ways of being of service to the disabled community, that our staff are well supported in their mahi, and that support systems prioritise people we support and ease of use.

Away from work, I have a busy family life with my young daughter and our small dog. We enjoy being out and about in the amazing Tauranga Moana environment, especially if it involves water, otherwise I can usually be found in the kitchen.
