Ann-Marie Fagan

National Coordinator – Quality

Nau mai haere mai – Céad míle fáilte – Welcome

I am a proud Irish woman, hailing from Dublin and I have lived in Auckland for over 20 years.

I joined CCS Disability Action in 2011, having previously worked in the areas of franchising and business coaching. I have been extremely fortunate to learn about disability culture and all its aspects from many disabled leaders and allies. It is an ongoing journey of discovery for me. A strong values-based organisation, that focuses on inclusion, rights and equity with ongoing reflection, refinement and change is something I am very proud to be a part of.

I am the National Quality Coordinator and work across the national team and regional teams in relation to quality assurance, quality improvement and risk management.

I believe that the whakautauki “Mahia te mahi, hei painga mo te iwi” (“work for the betterment of the people”) embodies our quality approach and culture within the organisation.

As leaders we are here to serve and part of my role is to provide assurance of and insight into how well we are achieving our commitments to disabled people/whānau hauā. I feel very privileged to do this work.

I often say “I bleed green” and with two Kiwi-Irish kids, rugby internationals are always an interesting time in our house!
